OVERVIEW

The Forerunner SKS-1 is an all season tire made for industrial vehicles.

The aggressive tread design, with the large elements, improves traction on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. These elements enable the tire easily performance both on- and off-road. These elements firmly grip the driving surface, with the use of extra biting edges. This effectively maintains forward motion at all times. In other words, the optimal tread pattern and its close surface contact enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. This combination upgrades the driver's control over the vehicle, promoting a safe driving experience.

The reinforced internal structure and the durable rubber compound boost load and driving durability. They maintain the optimal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting it. As the tire does not deform during the performance, the structure enables it to carry and withstand heavy loads. It increases the load capacity, making this tire perfect for heavy-duty and industrial applications.

The Forerunner SKS-1 lengthens its service life. The ideal tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, ensuring even wear. This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
