OVERVIEW

The Armstrong Ski-Trac S is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The optimized pattern and the winter compound increase the tire's winter traction. The ideal tread design, with the siping detail and the wide grooves, promotes great grip on ice- and snow-covered roads. These elements enable the tire to maintain consistent road contact and promote a safe performance. This tread pattern is also pinned for studs, which enables better traction on icy and snowy roads. This winter compound also keeps the rubber flexible in cold winter temperatures and does not allow the tire tread to deform in freezing conditions. Also, the tread has wide circumferential grooves, which eliminate water and slush from below the footprint and prevent hydroplaning.

The model provides excellent high speed durability. The ideal tread design closely follows the road surface even at high speeds and prevents pressure accumulation, while the robust internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under driving pressure.
