OVERVIEW

_x000D_

The Cosmo TigerTail is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Cosmo offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

Cosmo also offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Cosmo's road hazard covers the first 25% of the tire's tread life or 1 year from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty covers passenger vehicle and SUV sizes and it does not include sizes of the 40 series and below and 21-inch diameters and above. In order to qualify for the road hazard, the tires must be registered with Cosmo within 45 days after the purchase.

The all season traction is guaranteed by combining the durable compound and the asymmetric tread design. This combination enables the tire to greatly improve the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The notched tread elements allow the tire to effectively grip the road surface with the use of extra biting edges. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile weather conditions, boosting the summer and winter weather grip on the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet weather situations.

Better high speed controllability is also ensured. The ribbed footprint maintains the surface contact while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the tire greatly upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This promotes a quick and precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The heat-resistant compound and the stronger internal structure allow the tire to securely perform at its best high speed ability. They prevent heat build-up, while keeping the ideal tire shape at all times. This results in a safer high speed performing power.

The Cosmo TigerTail enhances the maneuvering ability as well. The tire uses its optimized tread elements to boost the cornering and braking abilities. As a result, the shoulder block pattern greatly improves the cornering power by providing extra biting edges to grip the road surface. This improves the model's maneuvering power. The notched rib pattern helps to generate friction at the moment of braking. In this manner, the tire greatly improves the braking ability by shortening the overall braking distance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
