OVERVIEW

The Cosmo Kurrent is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Cosmo offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire. This model is designed for electric vehicles.

Cosmo also offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Cosmo's road hazard covers the first 25% of the tire's tread life or 1 year from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty covers passenger vehicle and SUV sizes and it does not include sizes of the 40 series and below and 21-inch diameters and above. In order to qualify for the road hazard, the tires must be registered with Cosmo within 45 days after the purchase.

The better road contact also upgrades controllability. The optimized asymmetric tread design maintains surface contact throughout the drive. This effectively enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. It offers quick and precise steering responses and accuracy, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The tire utilizes its tread elements to effectively upgrade its cornering and braking capabilities. Their combination enables a secure driving experience.

This model offers a longer-lasting tread life. The ideal tread pattern and the rubber compound resist irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. The tread ensures even pressure circulation, in order to prevent irregular wear formations, while the rubber compound slows the treadwear rate down. The decreased and even wear leads to the tire’s longer-lasting tread life.

The Cosmo Kurrent guarantees superb comfort levels thanks to the ideal footprint. The ideal tread design and its close contact with the driving surface lower road and tread noise levels heard in the vehicle’s cabin. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
