OVERVIEW
_x000D_The Suretrac Wide Climber A/T II is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks and SUVs.
The tire offers a secure all weather traction. The detailed tread design and the all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road and terrain surface. The tread elements enhance the gripping ability, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The tread's wide groove pattern avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint.
The tread design also enhances the all terrain performance. The staggered tread elements and the wide grooves, along with the open shoulder pattern, increase the grip on soft, loose and uneven terrain surface conditions, which enables the tire to increase the on- and off-road performance. The tread's elements maintain a clean footprint. They eliminate snow and mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. This prevents mud and snow from packing into the grooves and cutting off the tire's surface contact. The self-cleaning capability also prevents stone retention by preventing rocks from drilling into the casing and harming the tire. This combination ensures the tire's secure versatile terrain performance.
The ideal tread design and better durability increase the model's controllability. The stronger structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This allows the tire to increase its load carrying and withstanding ability and power. This structure does not allow the tire to deform under the pressure, boosting the year round driving safety. The tread's excellent controllability is enabled with the optimal road and surface contact. The better contact enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model, increasing the driver's control over the vehicle.
The Wide Climber A/T II offers a longer lasting tread life. The tread allows the tire to increase the length of the usability with the special tie-in bars. The tie-in bars between the tread elements stabilize the footprint and actively prevent tread flexing. This is combined with the even pressure distribution along the tread area, which actively avoids irregular tread wear formations. The lengthened even wear boosts the tread life and the model's usability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
