OVERVIEW

The Red Dirt Road RD-6 M/T is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire promotes excellent mud terrain traction. It features an aggressive tread pattern, with large, staggered tread blocks, a high void ratio and an open shoulder pattern, which improves the tire's grip on soft and loose terrain surfaces. These tread elements ensure the tire's forward motion in deep mud and loose dirt, preventing it from being stuck on such terrain surface conditions. The optimal tread design also maintains a clean footprint at all times. The staggered tread elements and high void ratio eliminate mud and snow from between the tread to maintain a constant terrain surface contact and ensure a safer performing capability.

The model offers great damage resistance. The durable tire compound and the tread's self-cleaning nature work together to actively prevent damage to the tire's casing. The self-cleaning pattern ejects rocks stuck in the tread before they can damage the tread by drilling into it. This avoids stone retention from causing downtime during the tire's performance. The stronger tire compound, on the other hand, is cut and chip resistant. In this manner, the tire avoids damage to the casing, extending the service life.

The aggressive tread pattern and the reinforced construction enhance the tire's controllability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
